of the Middle Baroque era.
Giovanni Legrenzi (1626 – 1690) - an Italian composer of operas, vocal and instrumental
music. His violin sonatas are popular today.
Heinrich Biber (1644–1704) - Bohemian - Early violin sonatas
Arcangelo Corelli (1653 - 1713) - Italian - Inventor of the Concerto Grosso
Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni (1671 – 1751) Versatile Italian composer mostly known today
for his concertos.
